Erin Boyle is an evangelist for simple living. At the beginning of summer, we asked the Reading my Tea Leaves blogger and author of Simple Matters about her bedroom style.
F: What colors are top of your mind right now?
E: Blues and browns and greys with tiny spots of green.
F: What inspired your bed/bedroom décor?
E: Our bedroom is really centered around the antique bed that I rescued from my parent’s attic when I was in my early 20s. It’s a pretty dominating piece of furniture, so we keep everything else super simple.
F: What’s on your bedside table?
E: A small antique lamp and right this minute, a copy of Mohsin Hamid’s new book, Exit West.
F: What are your sleep rituals?
E: As the mother of a two-month-old, right now they’re pretty erratic. Any minute of sleep I get feels precious.
F: What colors have you picked from Flaneur bedding and why?
E: Classic Supima White. I’m a white sheet person and I love the soft warmth of Flaneur’s golden white.
Erin Boyle’s Sheet Style:
F: Do you consider yourself a Flaneur? Can you recount a Flaneur-like experience you’ve had recently?
E: Sure, whenever I can be! This morning I took my kids for an early morning walk and my two-year-old pointed out every hellebore that we came across. Flanuese-in-training!
